Gary Zamchick - Envisioner

Gary leverages a strong visualization skill-set to deliver new products, services, and brand experiences. His rapid visualization work has migrated from drawings in the New York Times to illustrating best-selling humor books to work with industrial labs (AT&T Labs Research) and intelligence agencies (NGA). With Rockwell Group, Gary worked with teams to design museum experiences (Walt Disney Family Museum), innovation labs for Coca-Cola, parades for Disney, services and experiences for Marriott, and Fortune 500 retail environments. Gary taught "Rapid Visualization" at New York University's Computer Science department for three years. Gary is also a founding member of Semantic Light, a start-up bringing a novel text-to-scene technology (Wordseye) to market. Visit Gary's blog at http://zamchicktheblog.blogspot.com.

Linda Crane
- Researcher, Writer, and Content Designer
Linda is a writer acutely aware that people don’t read or have time to read. So, to meet the lack of demand, she’s evolved to using a minimum amount of text and augmenting it—when possible—with annotated graphics and other visual ways of conveying information.
For recent work examples, see the articles and sidebars at www.research.att.com (disregard the bylines).

Neil Cantor - Brand Strategist
Neil helps companies build agile organizations that can out-innovate, out-maneuver, and out-brand the competition. Currently, he is launching a new brand for Marriott International called the Autograph Collection. This follows work he led to re-invent Marriott’s three full-service lodging brands, which covers more than 650 properties and over $6B in global lodging revenue. Neil also co-founded Design that Matters, an innovation firm for social enterprises in developing countries that to date has improved the quality of life for more than 160,000 beneficiaries in Africa and Asia. Neil holds an M.B.A from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a B.A. from Cornell University.

Dmitry Krasny - Information Designer
Dmitry creates visualizations of complex and important data that are easy to understand. In addition to working on projects and consulting for the financial, educational, scientific, and research sectors, he worked on Edward Tufte's two defining books on information design. Dmitry has taught at Parsons School of Design in New York since 1994, and served as Chair of Communication Design Department of Kanazawa International Design Institute (KIDI), Japan. He has received numerous awards from American Corporate Identity, American Institute of Graphic Arts, Graphic Design:usa, and Print. Dmitry earned a BFA degree from The Cooper Union, and an MFA from Yale University. Dmitry is the principal and founder of Deka Design in New York City.

Megan O'Donnell - Business Strategist
Megan is adept at sifting out colorful strategic opportunities from grey market and financial data. With Rockwell Group's branding team, she developed city and cultural brand transformation efforts in the US, large mixed-use facilities in Mexico, Malls in the Middle East, and the business case for transforming the TOMS Shoes brand into a unique hotel experience. She recently developed the strategy for the Mongolian Fibermark Society (the country’s cashmere industry association), and an assessment of eight industries for the World Bank in Tanzania with the goal of poverty alleviation. Megan has a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Stanford University.

Jack Esterson - Architect
Jack's interest lies in “the intersection between technology and artistry”, where one cannot exist without the other. He has broad experience in institutional, cultural, and educational projects as well as retail, housing and healthcare. Currently, Jack is leading the team for Pratt Institute’s $43M New Academic Building, a 120,000 square foot, LEED gold certified, creative arts facility.
